Bell Pepper and Paneer Curry Recipe

400 gms Paneer
2-3 tbsp Oil for cooking
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 small chopped onion
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 to 1 tsp curry powder
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of water ( adjust as per need)
salt per taste
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp turmeric
2 cups chopped bell peppers
1 dried red chili
1 cup mushrooms
1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves ( kasoori methi)
4-5 stalks of cilantro chopped ( for garnish)

Steps to Cook Bell Pepper and Paneer Curry:

Step 1:Heat some oil in a wok – Wait till oil get hot and add one teaspoon of cumin seeds (Jira) and fennel seeds (soap) and add red dried chili – crush chili and add it.

Step 2: Now add some chop onions with one tablespoon of minced garlic  and mixed these ingredients

Step 3: Add some bell peppers (red/green) and mushrooms. mix it well and saute it for few minutes

Step 4: Add little red chiller powder, one teaspoon of salt as per your taste and some turmeric

Step 5: Add paneer and mix well so that nothing sticks to the bottom of the pan and now add tomato sauce and some water – (instead of tomato sauce you can blend some tomatoes and add), So another Quick mix.

Step 6: Add a half teaspoon of curry powder, now close the pan and allow all flavor to mingle together, cook for few more mins.

Step 7: Finish off by adding garam masala, dried fenugreek leaves, and cilantro leaves. Serve over rice.

You can enjoy this with rice/roti/paratha.
